Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the ThreatGrid website, public tools, and related services. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
Last updated: May 9, 2026. These terms apply to threatgrid.tech and associated ThreatGrid services. TLINK PRO platform terms are maintained separately.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ThreatGrid website, public diagnostic tools, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. Use of ThreatGrid services on behalf of an organization constitutes acceptance on behalf of that organization.
2. Permitted Use
You may use ThreatGrid's website and public diagnostic tools for lawful security research, organizational security assessment, and professional evaluation purposes. You agree not to use the platform to conduct unauthorized scanning, probing, or testing of systems or networks you do not own or have explicit written permission to test. You may not use ThreatGrid tools to generate data for resale, aggregate competitive intelligence, or circumvent security controls on third-party systems.
3. Diagnostic Tools and Public Access
TLINK PRO public tools — including DNS Checker, WHOIS Lookup, IP Lookup, SSL/TLS Analyzer, and Security Header Analyzer — are provided for informational purposes. Results are generated from publicly available data sources and third-party intelligence feeds. ThreatGrid does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any tool result and is not liable for decisions made on the basis of tool output alone. Tool results are provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind.
4. MSSP and Managed Services
ThreatGrid managed security services — including Managed Detection and Response, Compliance and Risk advisory, and Incident Response Readiness — are subject to separate service agreements executed between ThreatGrid and the client organization. These Terms of Use do not create any service-level obligations or warranties not explicitly stated in a signed service agreement. Pricing shown on this website is indicative and subject to final scoping through a security assessment engagement.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the ThreatGrid website — including text, design, brand assets, platform architecture, and tool implementations — is the intellectual property of ThreatGrid and its parent entities unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from this content without express written permission. TLINK PRO software and platform architecture are proprietary and protected by applicable intellectual property law.
6. User Submissions
Information submitted through contact forms, service request workflows, or other intake mechanisms is used solely to respond to inquiries, route service requests, and support engagement scoping. ThreatGrid does not sell submitted information to third parties. See the Privacy Policy for details on how submitted data is handled.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
The ThreatGrid platform may reference or link to third-party services, intelligence feeds, or external resources. ThreatGrid does not control third-party content and is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or security of third-party sites. Links to external resources are provided for informational purposes only.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
ThreatGrid services and diagnostic tools are provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ThreatGrid does not warrant that the website or tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ThreatGrid and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform or services.
9. Changes to These Terms
ThreatGrid may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes affecting active service agreements, ThreatGrid will provide reasonable notice through appropriate channels.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ThreatGrid services will be subject to the jurisdiction established in any applicable service agreement, or to the jurisdiction of ThreatGrid's principal place of business where no agreement exists.
