Privacy Policy
This policy describes how ThreatGrid collects, uses, and handles information submitted through this website and associated services.
Last updated: May 9, 2026. This policy applies to threatgrid.tech and ThreatGrid public tools. TLINK PRO platform data handling is governed by a separate policy maintained within the TLINK PRO platform.
1. Information We Collect
ThreatGrid collects information you voluntarily submit through website forms and service request workflows. This includes your name, business email address, company or organization name, phone number (when provided), request details, and any project context you choose to include. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as payment credentials, government identifiers, or health data through this website.
When you use TLINK PRO public tools (DNS Checker, WHOIS Lookup, IP Lookup, SSL/TLS Analyzer, Security Header Analyzer), the domains, IP addresses, and hostnames you submit as query inputs are processed to generate results. These inputs may be logged for operational purposes including rate limiting, abuse prevention, and tool performance monitoring.
2. How We Use Collected Information
Information submitted through contact forms or service request workflows is used to respond to your inquiry, route your request to the appropriate team, support engagement scoping conversations, and maintain records of inbound requests. ThreatGrid does not use submitted contact information for unsolicited marketing. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
3. Operational Systems and Third-Party Processors
ThreatGrid uses hosting infrastructure, security tooling, and operational systems to deliver platform services. These systems may process submitted data as part of routine operations including web hosting, form processing, security monitoring, and internal workflow management. Access to submitted data is limited to ThreatGrid staff and authorized operational systems. Third-party processors are used only to the extent necessary to deliver the service and are not permitted to use your data for independent purposes.
4. Cookies and Analytics
ThreatGrid may use basic cookies and analytics tooling to understand aggregate website usage, monitor platform performance, and improve the user experience. No tracking cookies are used for cross-site advertising or behavioral profiling. Browser-level and session-level data may be collected for security and operational purposes including CSRF protection and rate limiting.
5. TLINK PRO Platform
Data associated with TLINK PRO analyst workspaces, asset monitoring, investigations, and reporting is handled under a separate data policy maintained within the TLINK PRO platform and subject to applicable service agreements. If you are a TLINK PRO user or MSSP client, please review the platform-specific policy available within the TLINK PRO application.
6. Data Retention
Contact and service request submissions are retained for the period necessary to respond to inquiries and maintain appropriate records of inbound engagement requests. Tool query inputs logged for operational purposes are retained for a limited period consistent with abuse prevention and operational monitoring needs. We do not retain submission data indefinitely and apply reasonable data minimization practices.
7. Your Rights
You may contact ThreatGrid at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted through this website. We will respond to reasonable requests within a timely manner consistent with applicable law. Some information may be retained where required for legal, regulatory, or contractual compliance purposes.
8. Security
ThreatGrid applies appropriate technical and organizational controls to protect submitted information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. These measures include encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and operational security practices consistent with our role as a security services provider. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and ThreatGrid cannot guarantee absolute security of submitted data.
9. Children's Privacy
ThreatGrid services are designed for and directed at businesses and security professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this platform, please contact us immediately using the information below.
10. Changes to This Policy
ThreatGrid may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice through appropriate platform channels.
